STrategic development projects
Developing Resources. Connecting Industries. Creating Opportunities.
At Prestige Diamond Industries Ltd, we envision a future where Africa's natural resources, modern infrastructure, and industrial capabilities work together to drive sustainable economic transformation.
Our proposed development initiatives in Ghana focus on establishing an integrated value chain connecting mineral resource development, inland waterway transportation, port infrastructure, and downstream industrial processing.
Through strategic partnerships, responsible investment, and long-term planning, we aim to unlock new economic opportunities, enhance regional connectivity, and contribute to Ghana's industrial development and Africa's broader economic growth.

Inland Waterway Transportation Network
Offin–Pra River Corridor, GhanaPDIL envisions developing an inland waterway logistics corridor connecting the Nyinahin mineral development area to the coastal region of Shama. The proposed transportation system aims to provide an alternative to conventional road haulage, improve bulk cargo efficiency, and support the development of regional logistics infrastructure.
Shama Port & Marine Infrastructure
Shama, Western Region, GhanaThe proposed Shama Port development is envisioned as a strategic coastal logistics and bulk cargo handling facility. Designed to complement the inland waterway transportation network, the project aims to strengthen cargo connectivity, facilitate mineral exports, and create opportunities for broader maritime and industrial activities.
Alumina Refinery & Downstream Industrial Development
Proposed Shama Industrial DevelopmentAs part of our long-term industrial vision, PDIL intends to explore opportunities for developing alumina refining and associated downstream processing facilities. This initiative aims to support local mineral value addition, strengthen Ghana's industrial capabilities, and contribute to the growth of a more integrated and competitive aluminium industry.
Our long-term ambition is to develop an integrated industrial ecosystem that connects Ghana's mineral resources with efficient transportation, modern port infrastructure, and downstream processing capabilities.
Through collaboration with government institutions, investment partners, and local communities, we seek to transform strategic development opportunities into sustainable economic assets that create lasting value for Ghana and the wider African region.
